WOLF - a villain, and he loves his work...
Wolf remains one of the most popular Gladiators - the villain that everyone loves to love.
What does he say about his appeal?
At 46, Wolf may be the oldest of the Gladiators, but he is still the most frightening. This year he is out to prove how fit he is, how nasty he is and how mean he can be!
He can be a pussycat though, and to prove it he took his fiancee Paula off to the Bahamas to get married on a beautiful golden beach. So the truth is out Wolf does have a soft side after all.
Wolf, who has featured in numerous television commercials and programmes, is the only person in the arena that the audience can boo at - particularly when he gets angry over losing out during an event. "If you see my good side that is only because I've had a lapse of concentration! I look upon the contenders as cannon fodder" he says.
When Wolf relaxes, he can be seen flying around his home town in Kent on rollerblades or having a hair raising time on his snowboard in some exotic alpine location. He recently opened his new Health Club near Bromley in Kent and can be spotted training there regularly to keep in competitive form for the show.
Food plays a major part in Wolf's fitness programme adn when he's training he is on a strict diet eating lots of chicken, fish, green vegetables, potatoes, pasta, rice and fruit. "I also have a banan in my protein drink two or three times a day as a supplement to keep my weight up".
Wolf was delighted when Spitting Image made a puppet of him. He thought it was really funny, but he did say that if heever met the producer he'd bite his head off!"
The 97/98 Pantomime season saw him in Peter Pan at the Center Halls Theatre, Chatham. This year he can be seen at the Victoria Theatre, Halifax as Jason in Snow White.
